Maybe it's just me and I can't find the option to reset it, but since the update, browsing the Music and Sound options is a nightmare.
Gone is the short list with drop down boxes/triangles to be replaces with the longest stream of folders with all sub folders showing in a huge long scroll of things. Impossible to navigate through.
Anyone else noticed this and know how to fix it?

Are you saying everything including what is in the folders is one continuous list?
That would be nightmare.
Mine looks like this:

No, that is what it looks like now. It used to be as below in the old version where you could close up that list. ie. In your list, there'd be three folders and that's it and you can expand and collapse as needed.
I have many, many folders and it auto lists all of them and all the sub folders, thus nightmare.
I just moved the re-size bar and then it looks the old model:
