I try to burn a blu ray disc. My Blu Ray Writer is: HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH10LS30
I use 25GB BD-R Discs from Verbatim.
If I try to burn a 20GB *.iso file, every tool I tried says immediately: There is not enough disc space. What is wrong?
Even if I try to burn smaller files to Blu Ray, it always says: There is not enough disc space.
I'm confused

check the drive where your MacOS is installed on (usually the int. drive) how much disk space it offers
select that drive in Finder and hit cmd-i ...
I think the message 'There is not enough disc space' means that I don't have enough space on the BD-R disc.
I have 390GB free harddisk space.
If I try to burn the image via the OS X disc utility, it says: There is not enough disc space, enter a different disc.
Hate to waste a disc, but wondering what would happen if you made another img from a shorter section of the timeline.

The 'There is not enough disc space' message appears immediately. It doesn't matter if the output file is 500MB or 20GB.
I tried different BD-R discs. It is always the same message.
I found a similar case:
