can't load garageband sounds and loops during download update
GarageBand -"can't load new sounds" in the download update mid way in the 14 gig process-have to reload with same results every time
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)
I just bought a Macbook Pro (Yosemite) and the new GB was one of the main reasons I bought it (especially all the software instruments available).
However I go to 'restore sound library' and it downloads for a few hours, asks for my password to install, and then... the instruments aren't still available.
So one of the primary reasons for my purchase... is not working. Would love a fix.
