Push notification for hotmail not working since carrier update

ever since I updated my bell carrier service I no longer get automatic push notifications for my hotmail account.

I Need to open my hotmail account and then it fetches the new emails. Normally it would automatically fetch it for me instantly.

Now I don't get them instantly and have to manually fetch them.

I Checked the setting and they are still on 'push'. I tried turning off the phone and turn it back k on but no luck.

Anyone else having the same issue that was able to fix it?
