My shared concert made in Mainstage 3 on a Yosemite Mac won't open on amother Mac using Mavericks. Any suggestions?

Is the version of MainStage on each Mac the same?

Yes. The Mac running Maverick is on the most current version of Mainstage that will operate on it.
