Windows 7, attempting to change file info in latest version of iTunes

I'm using Windows 7, in iTunes, get info>info, unable to change information to meet my file indexing needs. I attempted several times, it looked like the info changed, but when I go back to review it reverts to the original data. I used to be able to change the file data to meet my indexing needs, but with the latest update that has changed. I have already checked to make sure my computer is authorized, etc. Any suggestions?
