We have separate iCloud IDs and accounts but would like to share and edit documents and spreadsheets that simultaneously update across all our devices without having to send links or attachments, similar to using Dropbox with a single logon. Can we do the same using iCloud?

Thanks, quick time, for the rapid response. What if we created a third iCloud ID and shared the logon credentials on all our devices. Would that work?
Not very practical to have multiple ID's and logging in and out each time you wanted to share a file.
Dropbox or other services seem better suited for your goal.
