remote restore find my iphone

All..

I just lost my ipad, 2 hrs after that i still can located my ipad from find my iphone. I was panic and accidentally I use erase account from find my iphone rather than use lost mode. after that I cannot located my ipad but I don't know (not sure) this is because i erase the account or because the founder of my ipad turn off the Ipad..?

Can I remote restore for find my iphone account, so i can use lost mode again?
