I have a mid 2007 24" iMac that is slowing down, no surprise. Can I buy a Mac mini and use the 24" display of the iMac with it?

Can I use my old 24" iMac display with a new Mac Mini?

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Not unless you use the wi-fi solution ScreenRecycler, it's pretty slow. Use your 24" for something else and get yourself a new display to use with the new MM.

If the 2007 is otherwise OK, it may benefit from a RAM upgrade. It can accommodate up to 6GB of RAM. If you decide to do that contact only OWC (www.macsales.com) or Crucial. These are the two most reliable vendors and provide very high quality products.
