The thing is I ordered my mbp with it, it is written on the bill, but I am not sure if there wasn't any error on the shipping... Is there a way I can see if the computer really has it ? I mean, on my old mb I could read in the "about this mac", in "graphics" that it has the graphics but on this one, it is only written Intel Iris Pro 1536 Mo"...

Does the label on the original retail carton spell out the detail further?

Depending on the build model year and other identifier, more information

may be obtained, even by use of serial number or model number online.

Some private sites that may or may not be secure, are available; some

may show varying degrees of the build information and specification...

And there is this Support article from Apple:

Looks to be a newer model with Retina display, and Iris graphics.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂

Hey guys, I found the answer with both of your links. The thing is when the computer doesn't require much, it's only running integrated graphics and when it needs more, it switch to Nvidia. It saves battery on a long term.

thx a lot !

Vincent

P.s. If anyone is ever asking himself if he should by the mbp 15 inches, the answer is totally yes ! Performance are great and battery life is incredible for a screen of this size and quality (It goes up to 10 hours and more !).
