Q: iPad Air Froze during iOS update

Hi Guys,

My iPad Air screen froze with iTunes & USB Logo. I tried to reset by holding Home & Sleep buttons simultaneously. It reboot and displays same screen.

iTunes displays an error message as " UNKNOWN ERROR No. (17)"

Help me out.

Hi Allen,

the link you provide is helpful. unfortunately i am unable to get pass through Step 4, My terminal window is not saving the changes, its saying Permission denied as below
.

I am using MAC PRO with OS X Yosemite Ver. 10.10.3.
How can i get permission to edit this file in terminal.

Hey TPKR,

Make sure you include the "sudo" portion of the Terminal command detailed in that step, as this runs the 'Nano' editor program as your system's 'root' user, which has permission to edit the hosts file.

sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
