How to Protect/Lock all automation data to prevent edits?

I can lock tracks (which doesn't lock automation data), and lock automation data to a region, but is there a way to lock ALL automation data to prevent inadvertent editing or deleting?

Also, have lately had some track automation data suddenly disappear completely. Anyone else?
