I managed to transfer my iTunes purchase on my iPhone to my computer but I cannot drag the song into an existing playlist.

I managed to transfer my iTunes purchase on my iPhone to my computer but I have not been able to drag the new song into an existing playlist. Does anyone know how to do that with the upgraded iTunes?

iPhone 5, Windows 7
