It isn't clear (at least to me) what you mean. Some more details may help me or someone else answer your question.
Thanks. I have a "insufficient disc space" message when trying to import photos into Photos. It tells me "there is not enough free space on my Photo Library volume". How do I increase the disc space?
It sounds like it is telling you that you don't have enough free space on the hard disk drive where your Photos Library is located. A MacBook Air only has one drive (if you don't have an external drive connected) so it is telling you that your drive (SSD) is nearly full. If you go to the Apple menu and click About This Mac and then click Storage it will show you how much free and total storage you have (e.g. 73.97 GB free of 120.14 GB).
Thanks. It does seem to be I have used too much of the hard disc drive - I am now busy tidying it up to delete the files I don't need. Thanks for your reply.
I’m getting the same message, even though I have plenty of hard disk space available!!
