When I go to playlists on my nano it goes to genius and my playlists aren't there

When I go to playlists on the menu of my nano, it scrolls to Genius and my playlists are not there.

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iPod nano. If you are having unusual issues with navigation or the user interface on your iPod, you may want to try resetting it, as outlined in the following article:

If the issue persists, you may want to try restoring it to factory settings, then syncing your data back over:
