Can't turn off my magic mouse

Hi All,

I am having a problem with my magic mouse. I turn OFF the switch, but even though that the mouse is OFF, it still synchronized and I really do not know what's going on ?

Do you have any idea what I can do? The only way to shut down is down the batteries.
