When I press F12, it doesn't turn the volume up, it just switches to dashboard. I already went to Mission Control setting, but I couldn't fix it. I want to know how to fix this problem.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.
Since the default keybinding for Show Dashboard is F12, it looks like you may have the option "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" enabled. To disable the option, simply uncheck the box.
