Q: How do I transfer the contents of my itunes on my old laptop to new one?

I've just purchased a new laptop and unsure how to transfer all the music etc on my old laptop to iTunes on my new one.

When trying to sync my iPhone to iTunes on new laptop it says I will lose all my existing content?!?

Please advise.

I understand that you want to move your iTunes library to a new computer. Here is an article that walks you through multiple options of moving your library.

How to move your iTunes library to a new computer

Once you move your iTunes library and attempt to sync your iPhone, you will be presented with an alert that your music, movies and Apps on your iPhone will be erased. This is normal behavior as your device can only syncing with one computer at a time. You will just need to resync this information from your new computer.
