Apr 19, 2015 3:41 PM in response to ryaneppsby Csound1,What is your upload speed (50gb is not the upload speed, it's not the download speed either, but that's another story)
Measure the actual speed here. speedof.me
Then post a screenshot so we can see what it really is,

Apr 19, 2015 3:56 PM in response to Csound1by ryanepps,Hi,
I just saw you mention this on another post. I have looked into it and its REALLY slow, I never really upload stuff online but it seems i have been placed into 'traffic management' by Virgin, Im going to pause the upload for a day, and give it a chance to recover, and see if that does anything... it will also be very nice to turn off the laptop.

That doesn't tell me anything, but if you must keep it a secret that is up to you.

Apr 19, 2015 7:49 PM in response to Csound1by Lisalesa,Hi, I have the same problem and this is my speed result:
Download Speed: 3.27 Mbps Upload Speed: 590 kbps kbps Latency: 243 ms | Max Download: 3.28 | Max Upload: 0.59 04-20-2015 | Test Server: Speed: 3270 kbps Time: 12:31:56.112 Test Complete. Date Speed (M b ps) History 12:28 12:29 12:30 0
My photo library is only 1.6Gb, how come it only uploaded 76 pictures in 13hrs, can't be real!
Or any other solutions for transferring the photos that i edited on my ipad through "photos" in the edited version to my PC?

Apr 20, 2015 6:43 AM in response to Lisalesaby Csound1,At your (very low) speed uploading your library will take around 8 to 10 hours for your entire Library (assuming everything is working correctly) realistically you should expect double that.
You need a better Internet provider.

Apr 22, 2015 9:39 AM in response to ryaneppsby AlexLondonUK,I had similar problems until I realised that the upload would always cease at a particular item. So, I repaired the photo library by opening Photos while holding down the alt and cmd keys (next to the space bar). After the library was fixed the upload was reasonably fast (20K+ pics and vids in 3 days) on an upload speed of 8 Mbps. You should be able to see some progress as items are being uploaded. Complete lack of activity probably means that nothing is uploading!

Apr 23, 2015 3:12 AM in response to ryaneppsby Lisalesa, after one week of frustration with no progresses at all, eventually yesterday I downloaded "Photo Transfer App" on both PC and IPad. I managed to transfer all my pics in the edited version in only few minutes, Superawesome!!!
I really recommend to stop waisting your time with ICloud Photo Library and download that app!
