My iTunes card is saying it's not activated

Is this card one you received as a gift, purchased yourself? The store that sold the card has to activate it so it might be worth while taking the card and purchase receipt back to the store and have a clerk activate it for you.

You're welcome, did that myself once, was so busy talking to the cashier didn't notice the card had just been dropped in the bag without being scanned and activated. That is part of the theft protection, has to be scanned to be used.
