iphone 5c went suddenly black today. could still use siri after it went blank. just black screen.
Tried reset [hold 2 buttons for 10sec]. no luck.
Tried to reset via itunes and it restored/upgraded ios. But now the phone just vibrates/rings every 5sec like I just plugged it in to charge. and now, no access to siri.
The phone was in a life proof case and it was not dropped recently.
am desperate for a fix.

What were you doing before that? Also are you on a modified version of iOS?
It is my daughters phone. She was listening to music outside. music was still playing but screen was black. I am not sure what modified version of i0s is. I did the latest update this evening but I cannot tell if it went through. probably not b/c I cannot type in password on the phone. it says in iTunes that iOS 8.3 is ready for update.
I think the version she is running is iOS 7.1.2
I cannot restore it in iTunes b/c it says I have to disable "find my iPhone" but I cannot do that since I cannot access the screen 😟
