Hi, I am trying to help my aunt to reset her iPhone 4S and failed to activate at the activation stage (updated to iOS 8.3 during the restore process). She has been using her nephew's Apple ID all this while, but when I checked iCloud, there was no associated phone device - How could it be?
The most likely explanation is that the iPhone is locked by a different Apple ID than the one you show logged in to iCloud.com
When you try and activate the iPhone, does it say the account is b••••••@hotmail.com ?
