How to auto-size cell to display all text.

I'm not sure how to word this, but is there a way to configure the cells in Numbers 3.5.2 to expand to accommodate all text in the cell?

I've created a basic table that I'm using to log dates and hours for an internship. The date column has a simple SUM formula at the bottom. For each row of dates, I am entering notes about that day's activities. However, once the text reaches the bottom of the cell, it is obscured by the cell directly underneath. I seam to recall that early on, the cells autosized to display the text. I'm not sure if I've accidentally changed something.

Hi dmorris,

Does you table look something like this?

User uploaded file

Select the column containing notes and

Format Panel > Text > Style > Alignment > Wrap Text in Cell

User uploaded file

Another way is to make the Notes column wider, either manually or with

Format Panel > Table > Row & Column Size > Column > Fit

If your table is different, please post a screen shot (command shift 4 and drag).

Regards,

Ian.
