By office programs i am referring to: writing and calculating programs (like word or exel), so what i am trying to say is that i have microsoft office but I would like to know if there is any better programs that are similar to microsoft office.

Hope this helped you to understand my erlier quote.

It's hard to say if there's anything better than Office. However, here are some available options for OS X:

1. Microsoft Office X 2004 (PPC only)
2. AppleWorks 6.2.9 (PPC only)
3. iWorks (Pages and Keynote - both universal binary. No spreadsheet)
4. Papyrus (universal binary)
5. NeoOffice Aqua (universal binary - Open Source)
6. Open Office (universal binary - Open Source. Requires X11)
7. ThinkFree Office (universal binary)
8. Nisus Writer (universal binary - word processor)
9. Mesa Spreadsheet (universal binary)
10. Tables (universal binary - spreadsheet)

Do some more searching at www.versiontracker.com or www.macupdate.com.

Mac software can be found at www.versiontracker.com or www.macupdate.com or by shopping online at places like www.macmall.com.
