Windows does not have as good Temperature Control as Mac OS X. It also does not use the battery as carefully.

If you expect to be doing a lot of Processor-intensive or Graphics-intensive processing, there is a small risk causing heat damage. As long as you are aware of those issues and keep an eye on the heat generated, you should be fine.

You might also consider installing Windows 7 as a Virtual Machine within VMware fusion, Parallels, or VirtualBox. That way, the Mac OS will stay in control of low level processes such as temperature control, as well as running both OS's at the same time.
