Has anyone encountered a problem with the touchscreen not responding? My husbands phone does this frequently, any ideas how to fix this problem? He's tried restarting the phone and cleaning the screen. Thanks
iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.3
1. Remove the screen-foil.
2. Restore to factory settings
3. Send to Apple for Service

I don't know why this happened to me, but I just did a reboot by holding both the sleep/wake button and the home button down together on it and all is good now.
I have a 5S & recently did software update 9.0. Haven't had any problems until this update - touch screen fail.
Holding both buttons for reboot has worked.
I believe it's IOS 9 as well, I've had no issues with my 6 until now. Since upgrading, I've also noticed some slight performance issues as well.

I have the same problem that started in November 2016 after the latest update. The touchscreen becomes unresponsive but if I turn the phone off the back on again the touchscreen starts working again for a while. The problem seems to become more and more frequent. Initially it happened once every couple of days not it is several times a day.
Same issue here... progressively worse even after hard reboot.
