macbook air java (yosemite 10.10.3) java help

Hi, I have a mid 2013 macbook air with Yosemite 10.10.3 using java 8.45. i am trying to log into my employers remote desktop site and the java applet that is supposed to pop up is not popping up. it gives an error. i have searched the net and tried things such as giving permissions to the employers website in the java console but nothing seems to work.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

It sounds like you’re running into an issue loading a webpage on your MacBook Air because it requires a specific version of Java. Take a look at the article linked below which will help you get the latest version of Java directly from Oracle or a legacy version Java from Apple.
