how can I add my iphone buckup to icloud

my iphone lost and I can not see it in icloud and I have buckup on itune and I have the serial number how can I find it

Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup and turn that on. It will then backup to your iCloud account.

OK, that is a different question than your first question. If the iPhone is lost, and you had Settings > iCloud > Find My turned on, the iPhone will show up when you login to your iCloud account and go to Find My Phone provided the iPhone is turned on and connected to the internet. If both of those conditions are not true, it will not show up and there is no way to find it. It cannot be traced by the serial number or IMEI number.
But I have Ipad switched off and I can see it in I cloud (as offline) what is the difference why the iphone is not appear as offline
