thinking of purchasing macbook pro

I have an iPhone 5s, iPad2 and iPod Nano. What would be some primary benefits of
getting a MacBook Pro? Right now nothing
seems to work together and I end up having to deal with 3 different email
streams often with a lot of redundancy between my work laptop, home laptop and
iPad2.
