I downloaded some "copyright free' music - now I want to delete it from my iTunes

Looking for some background music for a YouTube clip I downloaded something labelled free to use but YouTube flags it as a copyright infringement. The music is not even that good so I want to remove it from my iTunes so I don't use it again by mistake - but I can find no way of doing this.

Also where is the delete key on my MacBookPro - I have always used backspace, but googling for help "Delete Key" is mentioned

There is no key on a macbook pro labeled "backspace". The key you want to press is labeled "delete". If that isn't working for you, go to the Edit menu and select Delete from there.

Yes - I can find no key labelled 'delete' so have in the past used the backspace key which has the symbol of an arrow pointing to the left - but this does not perform the action in this case

I tried the edit menu but the delete option is greyed out
