Q: Problems using HDTV as external display for iMac G5

I have connected a Samsung HDTV (Model LN22A450CID) to iMac G5 OS 10.4.11 via VGA and digital audio cable to mini display port. The iMac recognizes the external display but the display apparently is not recognizing the computer. I am obviously missing something.

Hello capt. zero,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like the external display is not recognizing the Mac. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
