iPhone6 and Bose SoundTouch20 AirPlay issue

Hello All,

I'm facing a very peculiar problem with AirPlay on my iPhone6 (iOS 8.3). I'm using BT router which has two frequencies - 2.4 & 5 GHz.

iPhone6 is using 5GHz frequency whilst Bose SoundTouch20 uses 2.4GHz. Because of this sometimes AirPlay icon appears, which frankly speaking is extremely rare, and sometimes it doesn't.

I can't change SoundTouch20 frequency. Is there a way to make i6 use 2.4GHz or better if there is a way to make elusive AirPlay appear without changing frequencies?

iPhone 4s doesn't have any problem as it uses 2.4GHz frequency.
