Facetime recents

I have a MacBook Air with Yosemite 10.10.2 and I can't access the recents tab in FaceTime. My friend FaceTimed me and I didn't have their number in my contacts but when I went back to look for the number, I have two problems:

1. I can't find my recent calls

2. I only see my contacts.

Anybody else getting this problem? Any instruction?
