Would like to know what replacement video card to get for Late 2009 27" iMac

Hi, I have a late 2009 27" iMac where the screen goes black, I have run every test imaginable, but other forums that I have researched all basically come to the same conclusion. New video card time.

I erased the hard disk and it worked fine for about 2 months, its back to the black screen again.

What I would like to know, what would be the best replacement card for this machine here are the specs

Processor - 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

memory - 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB

serial - W894606Y5PM

None, iMac video cards are not upgradeable. If you can locate the original Radeon HD 4670 that is your only alternative. That assumes it is not soldered into place. I would recommend checking the ifixit website for a teardown of that model and see if they GPU can be changed out.

Thats a shame you can't upgrade them, I am finding its just as hard to find the card as well.

They might be Nice machines ,but this is one aspect I dislike about the Macs, They can become obsolete easily, and a closed parts system and supply chain.
