I just upgraded to Photos and I'm reviewing an event, and "unnamed" keeps displaying when I don't want to use the feature. How do you disable faces?
Wow, I just answered my own question. Go to VIEW and select Hide Faces Names. (Basically this is a toggle...)
Just so you know, you have not disabled faces, you are just hiding the names of the faces. If you don't want to use faces, recommend Aperture or Lyn.
Yes, I just wanted to hide them. Thanks. I have some free time over the next few weeks, so I'm really going to capitalize on it and dive into Photos to thoroughly understand it.
Great help - I have been searching how to get rid of this feature. Wondering if you can help with another problem. I want to be able to split events in the new 'photos' as i used to be able to do in the old iPhoto. i wish i had never upgraded! I take many photos and also get photos from my daughter and they just all go together in by date. I do not want to make more folders. Hoping you can help. Cheers
You can't. Make Albums instead.
