Imac 21.5 mid 2010 as TDM

Hello

I'm trying to use my Imac 21.5 in mid 2010 as Target Display Monitor for my Macbook pro 17" mid 2009 using a mini display port to mini display port cable but can't have it succeed.

Is it possible to make it?

You need the 27" iMac of 2010 to use TDM.

Got it, thanks . Too Apple doesn't make it clear on their website I would have saved the purchase of the cable...
