how can i import contacts to icloud from hotmail
i have contacts in hotmail and i want them to be imported to icloud. please help with procedure.

This procedure will work for you:
1. In Settings, mail, contacts, calendar go to your hotmail account and make sure Contacts syncing with the iPhone is turned to ON.
2. Wait for the contacts to finish syncing from hotmail to your iPhone
3. Then go to your iCloud account and make sure Contacts syncing with the iPhone is turned to ON.
4. The iPhone will then sync your contacts to iCloud.
You could leave both Hotmail and iCloud contacts syncing left to on, but my advice is to sync only with iCloud. If you decide to leave syncing with both on, make sure in the settings to set as default the service you prefer since new contacts will be synced with that service automatically.
