When ever I restart or turn on my mac it comes up with all these apps from my dock, how do I prevent it doing it again?
System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login items
Remove those applications from the "Login items" list.
Highlight the applications and click the "-" minus button at the bottom.

Thanks that helped a little bit, but it still comes up with messages, powerpoint and mail. What do I do?
