Why is my mouse acting erratic after the most recent 10.10.3 update?

I noticed this problem when I updated to 10.10.3

I know it's not a battery issue because it works perfectly on my login screen. I only have issues once I am logged in and trying to use it. I've restarted my computer a handful of times and that usually works for a few minutes before it bugs out again. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Is there a way to undo the update? It has rendered my computer completely useless without a wireless mouse. Very frustrating. When I'm not touching the computer, the mouse continues to fly around and will open things/ leave the pages that I'm looking at.
