Sound not working

please can someone help the sound on my iPad Air is not working on games or any apps but is working on the internet (music) I have gone through my settings

Make sure the mute switch is not on (the switch on the upper part of thie right edge of the iPad) or if you have that switch set up for lock rotation, make sure mute isn't highlighted in the control centre (drag your finger up from the very bottom on your screen, it's the bell with a line going through it)

If mute isn't on, try doing a soft reset:

Hold down the home & sleep/wake buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears then let go & let the iPad boot up. Check to see if sound is working now.

If still no sound, try doing a general reset

Settings->General-Reset->Reset All Settings.

You won't lose any data but will have to log back into your wifi network(s)
