depending on your card you could try the vendors website to see if they have supplemental driver utilities. But in any instance I can think of since OS 7.5.1 to present Apple supplies their own "drivers" inside the OS installer when you buy a particular Mac model. Any additional functionality after that would be 3rd party. If there is a utility to offer level of control you get bundled inside your Nvidia control panel on mac I don't know what it is. Nvidia doesn't even offer mac controller drivers* macs, you could try ATI's website and see if they have anything like that for mac but Mac OS does not allow you go as deep as you can with vs. Windows drivers for video cards AFAIK

*to the pedantic response team on highly caffeinated attack mode: YES, Nvidia offers CUDA drivers for Mac on their website, but they are not inclusive device controller drivers, they are specifically for cards with CUDA cores to be used in specific applications that can take advantage of CUDA.

Thank you for your reply JimmyCMPIT,

No I know in game settings. You got me wrong!

I'm trying to say that if you ever use Windows, you would know; there is a Graphic Card settings(NVDIA Graphic Card Driver Settings) area where you can command and control the settings like anti aliasing and texture details.

Like NVDIA or ATI Graphic Card Driver settings in windows!!!

Your specific examples suggest to me that you may find the following controls useful. Starting from the Apple menu (top left of the desktop) open 'System Preferences...'. You will find a setting for 'font smoothing' in the 'General' panel. In the 'Displays Panel' you can set the display resolution and colour calibration. If you have impaired eyesight then the 'Accessibility' panel will be helpful.

Other things are normally controlled by the application and are controllable only if the developer chooses to offer the settings under 'Preferences...'. Most applications involving text will offer the Fonts panel for you to select typeface and styles but Mac developers are discouraged from exposing users to low-level settings. Apple's view is that properly designed applications should 'just work' and require users to make as few decisions as possible.

My advice is not to bother trying to make Mac OS X reproduce the behaviour and aesthetic of Window; if you want Windows, install Windows, it works great on Mac hardware. Otherwise, just relax and go with the flow. After a few days you'll get used to how things are done and after a few weeks you won't want to turn back.
