ENDLESS Sprint Data Plan notifications

I am about to take a hammer to this iPad. Every month when my Sprint data plan renews, I start getting the popup system dialog that says DATA PLAN ACTIVATED, with text that it has been successfully activated, and the OK button that I have to click to make it go away. I get at least 50 or more of these for many days, then it seems to stop until next month. I can't track it down by application, in Notifications, anywhere. It stops videos, gets in the way of whatever I am doing, and after 10 or 11 times on the same day, I am a blind, seething madman over it. Somebody help??

DId your iPad come with an Apple SIM card?

I have read about notifications for data plans when using Apple SIM cards. I am not sure why you are getting the notifications but it could be because you're on a month to month plan. Some users have fixed the issue by switching to a carrier specific SIM card.

As far as your problem jh.lee35, you could probably get rid of the message by turning off cellular data & removing the SIM card

You may have the incorrect iPad Sprint SIM. A friend with an iPad Air went through an ordeal of getting strange messages, failure to connect etc. and got Sprint SIMs from both the Apple Store and Sprint. Turned out Sprint didn't carry the correct one in their stores and the ones they sent to Apple were incorrect. He had to order one from Sprint.
