Notes on Yosemite

Question

Hello everyone,My &#x27;Notes&#x27; is crashing at launch with application error :Application Specific Information:*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception &#x27;NSInternalInconsistencyException&#x27;, reason: &#x27;Invalid parameter not satisfying: folderId !&#x3D; nil&#x27;abort() calledterminating with uncaught exception of type NSExceptionIt&#x27;s working well with only one Exchange-Account, but when adding a second one, bingo !Never mind wich one is installed as first one, it&#x27;s when the second-one is activated that Notes crashes ...Thx 4 feedback.

Back up all data before proceeding.Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:~/Library/Containers/com.apple.NotesRight-click or control-click the line and select          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Quit the application if it&#x27;s running. Move the selected item to the Trash. Relaunch the application and test.*If you don&#x27;t see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select          Go ▹ Go to Folder...from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won&#x27;t see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Select the Exchange account in the Internet Accounts preference pane and uncheck the box marked Notes. Test. Then re-check the box and test again.

That&#x27;s what I already said :When I just use one Exchange-(Notes)account, I have no problems.  When I add a second-one, "Notes" starts crashing.  Nevermind wich-one I use as first-one.

If all your notes are synchronized with Exchange, iCloud, or some other network service, then they should resynchronize after you delete the com.apple.Notes folder and relaunch Notes. If that didn&#x27;t happen, see the discussion linked below.Notes keeps crashing.

It is not quiet the same.We are talking about two diferent accounts, connecting to the same exchange-server.I think it is an undocumented bug in Yosemite.

Whether it&#x27;s a bug or not, you can&#x27;t sync two Exchange accounts with Notes. Choose one and disable the other.

FYI, Before Yosemite, I had 3 exchange accounts for the past 5 years that synced without a problem to the exchange server with Mail/Cal/Contacts/Notes/Tasks, etc.  Ever since the last upgrade (started last winter), I have had the exact same issues of notes crashing.  When I took my laptop into the apple store, they said it should be able to sync all the features of all the exchange accounts, including notes.  So is this a documented issue or are you now claiming that the last five years of it working were a fluke?

Also, notes for my 3 exchange accounts that sync to the same exchange server (3 different email address) all sync perfectly fine on all my IOS devices (iPhone and iPad).  Just not on the macbook pro any more.

I have exactly same issue (including exception) syncing with the only Exchange account. It was working fine after upgrading to Yosemite, but some time ago it started crashing. Any ideas how to fix it? I tried receipts with removal of caching and com.apple.Notes folder...
