Bluetooth mic not working for ausdom m05 on GarageBand 10.0.3

Hi,

I picked up a set of Ausdom M05 headphones.

My iMac (3.06 Ghz - 8GB RAM - Bluetooth 2.0+EDR) picks up the microphone with no problem.

The mic works fine when I test it from System->Sound->Input->Input Level.

But the new version of GarageBand (10.0.3) I just downloaded doesn't record anything from them.

I've selected them for the new track I created. I 100% know that they are selected because they show up in the Audio/Midi preferences pain.

I've restarted my Mac.

I've disconnected and reconnected the headphones.

I've restarted GarageBand.

Skype and some of the free voice recorders in the app store work just fine. But some apps like audacity and GarageBand don't work at all.

Any ideas what might be going on here?
