Do I have to pay to get my iPhone 6 screen repaired at the Apple Store if it is a hairline crack?z

I just finishef talking to apple support and I was telling them I have a hairline crack and if it would be covered under my warranty if I got it fixed at the Apple Store but they told me it wouldnt be under warranty it'll be a accidental cost and I would have to pay averagely $109 and I've been reading discussion boards saying you don't have to pay for hairline cracks. So I was wondering if someone can ensure me if i would have to pay for the crack? Thank you
