It depends what it is that you want to do. If you are asking about file transfer, the following may help:

User uploaded fileI have a serious issue of transferring data between a) my MacBook Air (mid 2013)and B) my mobile phone Samsung Note 3.

Until 2 year before, with a USB cable and the “android file transfer” app everything was working perfectly. From the moment I “upgrade” to the Yosemite OS I receive the message “unblock the device” for a device wich is NOT BLOCKED !!! (see the attachment pls). That message are misleading me. Its a rong message !

I have aprox 55Gb in my phone (videos and photos) that I cannot download to my laptop !!! :(((

Via Airdroid is possible but unexcpectably SLOW and painfull….

The same mobile (Note 3) is perfectly working when I plug it to a Microsoft laptop. (i see it as a external device)

I don’t want to change my MacBook Air but I cannot accept to be obliged to change my phone neither.

Can you help me to found the solution ?

It is serious...., if I cannot resolve that I will take the decision to stop working with Apple.

Thank you in advance for your time,

Best regards,
