BUG: Photos app does not save dates on export

Try to drag photos out of photos app. Creation and modification date will not be preserved.

If date is not preserved you can not sort by date in Finder anymore.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

First you are not addressing Apple on these forums, we are all end users like yourself. If you are looking for help on Photos there is a Photos for Mac forum.

If you really think there is a bug you have discovered (not likely) then you can navigate to www.apple.com/feedback and post your feedback there.

Select the image you want > File > Export > Export Unmodified Original...

There's also a keyboard key modification when dragging pictures out. I'm not at my computer right now to verify if it's Option-drag or Command-drag. Experiment.
