Using Numbers, I set up a spreadsheet grid but it disappears as soon as I click anywhere. How can I keep the grid?
I have: iMac with OS 10.10.3; Numbers 08 ver 1.0.3
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), Numbers 08 ver 1.0.3
Numbers activates a table when you slick any feature of the table. When you click outside the table (to select text, or shapes, or media) then the table will deselect. Numbers allows multiple tables on a sheet and only one table can be active at a time
In your menu Help > Numbers Help has descriptions that may help you get used to the interface:

This may help. Numbers tables can have Grid Lines (Format Panel > Table > Grid Lines)...
... and Cell Borders (to change all cells, select the whole table by clicking on the "bullseye" top left) then Format Panel > Cell > Border > select a Border Pattern and Style
1 pt Borders (my preferred default):
They don't disappear when I click away. Also, the borders show up well when I post a screen shot to this forum 😉.
