Time Machine Backup / OS X Server

I am running 10.10.3 / OS X Server 4.0.3

I have 7 users (running 10.10.2) backing up via Time Machine to a 10TB raid.

I thought when a users TM disk image was full, it would purge old files to make room for new files but all users are getting a backup full message.

Is there something not set correctly? I did not set any data size limits in Server / TimeMachine settings because each user uses a different amount of space.

First, you should be running Server 4.1. Any server update may fail, so you should first update a copy of the startup volume and test thoroughly before deploying.

Is the RAID full?

Can you please provide us some further information about your environment, are the users connected to a dedicated Time Machine server with the raid volume connected to said server?
