Playing games while charging can damage the battery?

Hello all. I have searched for many links regarding this and i still cannot find a good proof of it. Im using an iphone 6 plus and i started playing a game which i really enjoy and it drains my battery alot. If i charge it and play at the same time does it damage my battery?
